Wetherby News November 3rd 1916

Amongst the local men officially reported wounded are Pte. E. Harrison, Collingham of the Northumberland Fusiliers;

However, to date, we have not managed to identify this man. About 5 men named 'E Harrison' of the Northumberland Fusiliers were reported as wounded and two of them seem to have been wounded around October 1916. However we have not connected either of these men with Collingham, and indeed have not managed to find anyone with this initial or surname in Collingham around this time. We will continue to search for records which shed light on who this man was. If you have any information that could help us, we would be delighted to hear from you.
