Barber, Harry

Connection with Collingham, Linton or Micklethwaite and reason for inclusion on this web site

  • Named as an Absent Voter due to Naval or Military Service on the 1918 or 1919 Absent Voter list for Collingham, Linton or Micklethwaite

We have been unable to identify this man.

The 1918 electoral roll for the village of Linton records Harry Barber as being an absent voter due to Naval or Military service. Harry Barber's name remains on the Linton electoral roll from 1918 to 1921 but then we loose track of him. We have not been able to identify his family or military service. The First World War medal rolls indicate that medals for the War were awarded to 82 men named Harry Barber (and there are a further 78 named Henry Barber).

If you are able to help us identify him, please contact us.
