Today we especially commemorate Major George Sidney Marsden Colbeck-Welch of the Northern Signal Service Training Centre Royal Engineers who was born on this day in 1884.Today we especially commemorate Captain Sydney Stewart English of the 1st Battalion Leicestershire Regiment who died on this day in 1951.
