We have been unable to completely identify this man.

The name of Frank Thorpe appears in the Wetherby News in an article of the 23rd October 1914 which lists men of the area who had volunteered to serve. He is listed as living at the time in Micklethwaite and in the 1915 Micklethwaite electoral roll he is living at The Grange Yard, Micklethwaite. We have not traced him apart from these brief mentions and cannot identify his military service. He may be related to J Thorpe (see below).
