Today we especially commemorate Lt Col 38393 Gorges Frederick Houghton of the Royal Signals Corps who was born on this day in 1907 and 2nd Lieutenant 130822 Arthur William Bisat of the 1st (Airborne) Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles who died on this day in 1943.
